Return and Refund Policy


Thank you for shopping at Mianzi.

Before You return a Mianzi product, please take a moment to understand how Our products are designed. All Our products are handmade by traditional heritage artisans in rural India, resulting in each product being distinct.

Despite being handmade i.e. having several variables, We at Mianzi stand behind the quality of our products and We will replace the product free of cost if You are not satisfied with Your purchase for any reason. We invite You to review Our policy on refunds and returns. 
Please note that Exchange or Refund will not be made against the non-returnable items, unless there is a defect or difference from its description.

The following terms are applicable for any products that You purchased with Us.

Interpretation and Definition


The words of which the initial letter is capitalized have meanings defined under the following conditions. The following definitions shall have the same meaning regardless of whether they appear in singular or in the plural.



For the purposes of this Return and Refund Policy:


  • Company (referred to as either "the Company" "We" "Us" or "Our"; in this Agreement) refers to Mianzi.

  • Goods refer to the items offered for sale on the Service.

  • Orders mean a request by You to purchase Goods from Us.

  • Service refers to the Website.

  • Website refers to Mianzi, accessible from

  • You refers to the individual accessing or using the Service, or the company, or the Goods or other legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing or using the Service/Goods, as applicable.

Conditions for Returns or Replacements


In order for the Goods to be eligible for a return or replacement, please make sure that:

  • The Goods were purchased in the last 3 days.

  • The Goods are in the original packaging.

  • The following Goods cannot be returned:

a. All Goods that are customizable.

b. The supply of Goods made to Your specifications or clearly personalized or customized.

c. The supply of Goods which according to their nature are not suitable to be returned, deteriorate rapidly, or where the date of expiry is over.

d. The supply of Goods that are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons and were unsealed after delivery.

e. The supply of Goods which are, after delivery, according to their nature, inseparably mixed with other items.

f. The supply of Goods marked as non-returnable and/or non-replaceable under product description and details.


We reserve the right to refuse the return or replacement of any merchandise that does not meet the above return conditions at our sole discretion.

  • Only regular-priced Goods may be returned or replaced. Unfortunately, Goods on sale cannot be refunded. This exclusion may not apply to You if it is not permitted by applicable law.

Returning Goods

You are responsible for the cost and risk of returning the Goods to Us.

We cannot be held responsible for Goods damaged or lost in return shipment. Therefore, We recommend making sure to securely pack your item with adequate cushioning to prevent damage to the item in transit. Also, You will be e-mailed a return slip, which must be printed and pasted on the return package so that it is not lost in transit.

We are unable to issue a refund or replace Goods without actual receipt of the Goods or proof of received return delivery.

Replacement Policy

  • Our replacement policy allows You to request a replacement product of the same or less value at no additional cost if the Goods received by You are physically damaged.

  • You will be eligible to get a replacement if a replacement request is made, with appropriate images of the damage, within 24 - 48 HRS of receipt of the delivery of the Order.

  • Please note that this policy will not cover routine product wear and tear, damage incurred during the use, or any other forms of damage and will not, in any event, entitle You to a refund, whether partial or otherwise.

  • No replacement request will be accepted after 3 days of delivery.

  • A free return or replacement cannot be created for an item that was returned and replaced once earlier.

  • The customized products will be eligible to get a replacement, only if a replacement request is made, with appropriate images of the damage, within 24 HRS to 48 HRS of receipt of the delivery of the Order. If the product is being self-installed, the replacement request can be made before installation only. Once installed, the Goods are not eligible for replacement/return.

Reverse Pick Up Policy


We offer Our customers a simple, hassle-free, Reverse pickup policy. Our customers are valued not only at the time of sale but also through the subsequent stages of Returns & Refunds. Our policy is thoughtfully designed to ease up the process, save time, and make you feel reassured about your order.

  • You can place a return request within 3 days from the date of delivery.

  • Please mention your order number in the subject line to help us quickly process your returns/exchanges.

  • Please ensure that the returned Goods are unused, unworn, unwashed, undamaged, and are in a salable condition.

  • We request You to maintain the original packaging of the items to be returned, including the Mianzi tags.

  • To return, please repackage your item in the original Mianzi packaging in which you received it. Make sure to securely pack your item with adequate cushioning to prevent damage to the item in transit.

  • You will be e-mailed a return slip, which must be printed and pasted on the return package.


Make sure to follow these steps, else the product will be marked sold and wouldn't be eligible for return.


  • The returned Goods will be inspected after delivery before the refund/replacement is initiated.

  • Please ensure that all the returned Goods are packed securely and safely to prevent any loss or damage during transit.

  • The Goods for reverse pick up will be picked up within 4 business days from the date of request.

  • After the receipt of the item(s), your request for returns/exchanges would be processed.

  • In the case of returns, banks normally take 7-10 business days to process a refund once it has been initiated from our end.

  • In the case of exchanges, your new order will be dispatched to you within 3-5 business days after we receive the earlier shipment.


  • Some of the pin codes are not feasible for Reverse pick-up, in such cases, the customer will need to send it back to us.

  • Please note we do not offer a reverse pick facility outside India.

Return Policy


  • Mianzi reserves the right to reject returns from any particular customer, in case of frequent returns by such customer, which shall mean returns on more than 3 occasions in a financial year.

  • Our shipments are carefully inspected before leaving our warehouse, but if you are not satisfied with your purchase, please follow the instructions below:

    • You can return/exchange in 7 days after the date of delivery, but under the condition that Mianzi customer service is intimated within 3 days of delivery of the goods to your address.

    • Mianzi will exchange the returned items free of cost or issue a refund for the cost of the goods to the credit/debit card used for online shopping.

    • Shipping charges will not be refunded and customers are required to pay for the shipping costs to return the goods to the applicable return address if the pin code is out of a pick-up location.

    • Please note that only defective items are accepted at our CT center. All other products must be sent to our office in Delhi, India.

    • Sale products are non-returnable. Exchange or Refund will not be made against a non-returnable item unless there is a defect or is different from its description.

  • The customized orders are not eligible for return or refund.

​Claiming Refunds

  • For Credit Card/Debit Card/Net banking or Paypal Transactions:

    • As the charge on your credit card/account would have already been done online at the time you made the purchase and authorized the payment, we will provide a refund into the original mode of payment.

    • If applicable, refunds would be made for the cost of the goods to the credit /debit card used for online shopping. However, shipping charges would not be refunded except where Mianzi has erroneously sent you the wrong item/color/size.

  • For COD (Cash on Delivery) Transactions:

    • Refunds can only happen via the E-Voucher/Credit coupon.

    • Cash Refunds are not allowed for COD orders since we cannot get cash delivered through couriers.

    • Customers can also place a request for a reverse pick-up in case reverse pick-up service is available through our couriers.


Refunds will only be done in the following cases:

  • Genuine quality issues.

  • Packages were lost in transit.

  • In case Mianzi discovers that a wrong item has been shipped to you.

No refunds will be given in the following cases:

  • In case of minor design and color variations. With handmade products, there will always be some variables.

  • Incorrect or outdated delivery address.

  • Incorrect address format including any form of a PO Box address.

  • After 3 failed delivery attempts by the courier.

  • Package refused by the recipient.

  • Products returned in a used or damaged condition.

Note: Refunds will only be made after we have received the returned shipment. We cannot be held responsible for Goods damaged or lost in return shipment.

International Returns & Exchanges

  • We do not offer Goods Exchange or Return on orders shipped internationally.

  • In an unlikely event if any Goods you have received are in a damaged condition or are defective, please reach out to us at within 48 hours of receiving the order. Our representative will guide you on this matter.

  • We do not accept any damage complaints after 5 days of receiving the shipment. So please make sure you report the matter to us and dispatch the product at the earliest once we accept the return request.



  • There might be duties/taxes applicable when you return items to us, so kindly do not ship anything back to us without writing to our customer care. We will not be liable to pay any duties/taxes arising due to return shipment.

  • If you receive defective, damaged, or incorrect Goods, the order cost and the shipping cost will be bearable by Mianzi, once your return is processed. However, we will not be liable to pay any duties/taxes arising due to return/exchange shipment.
